The ablity of art

Every time I have hold a pencil in my hand or have drawn a single line of canvas or have rubbed my fingers in the fine colour pastels, I have felt special, I have felt that I have something extra in me, I have felt proud of myself.

I always thought I am capable of doing this because I am fortunate to have limbs hanging down my shoulders and was amazed at onw or two stories which I read about people who write or draw without having limbs.

I had been underestimating the word creativity and capability till I got acquainted by Association of Indian mouth and foot painting artists. Yes,

Comeback - A sign of Service

18th March 2011

Gaurav Kumar

It's just one month short before the DARE completes one year of its inception when the restlessness for resilience calms down with things moving on and DARE has made a come back.

The effort which started with the idea of making people aware about importance of sign language, was never stopped in my diaries and the mails , till I dare to see a hope in commercial significance of sign language and to be used as a tool for inclusion.

It all started with a personal disliking of chaos which we generally find in the restaurants and so called happening places. Can we promote sign language at all such places. How about an ambience which talks in the language of signs.....

I was never skeptic about the idea and the hope never went down till a few more started believing in the same..

Project "SATKAAR" is flagged which talks about integration of our deaf brothers and sisters in Hospitality sector
